Take the Survey and Have Your Say
We are conducting a survey to strengthen dialogue and engagement between government and property owners in Uganda’s 10 new cities of Mbarara, Fort Portal, Hoima, Gulu, Jinja, Mbale, Masaka Soroti, Lira and Arua, for better practices specific to the generation and management of property tax.
Our main objective is to advocate for services & fair taxation for property owners, by increasing transparency related to revenue mobilisation and how revenues are spent in the local community, and to also improve knowledge and understanding of selected stakeholders about property rates, their rights, and obligations.
We will inform the City Administration of stakeholder feedback without disclosing your identity; your responses will be anonymised. However, your responses will still contribute to advocacy for spending on services at the local level.
Local services include things like city planning and management, road construction and maintenance, street lights, sanitation and garbage collection, antimalarial drugs and clean water.
Your responses will help inform ongoing data collection for decision makers at all levels of government, as well as educate all on how property rates impacts your city.
If in the future you have any questions regarding the survey, or concerns or complaints, we welcome you to contact us HERE, or email support@realmuloodi.co.ug
