UGANDA, Kampala | Real Muloodi News | Godfrey Kirumira, a prominent businessman and real estate muloodi in Kampala, has recently been appointed as the Honorary Consul of Namibia to Uganda.
The appointment was formalised during a presentation of credentials ceremony on Thursday, May 6, where the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Henry Okello Oryem, received Kirumira’s credentials.
The minister congratulated Kirumira on his appointment and acknowledged that it would further bolster the relations between Uganda and Namibia.

The appointment of Kirumira, who owns multiple businesses in Kampala, will undoubtedly open up new avenues for economic cooperation and collaboration between the two countries.
Speaking on his new role, Kirumira pledged to attract more Namibian tourists and investors to Uganda. This is expected to bring in much-needed foreign investment and create job opportunities for the country’s youth.
Given Kirumira’s extensive business network and experience in Uganda, he is well-positioned to attract investors to the country and boost Uganda’s economy.
