UGANDA, Mbarara | Real Moloodi News | Tycoon Godfrey Kacuma, the managing director of GBK Dairy Products and GBK Mineral water, may soon buy up the entire city of Mbarara! The Mbarara tycoon Mr. Kacuma is buying massive structures, one after the other. He is one of the most hardworking Real Muloodis in Mbarara Town.
Mr. Kacuma’s property-buying spree goes on and on, and he owns several properties in Mbarara. Adding to his fortunes, Tycoon Kacuma owns a massive factory in Rwebikoona, Mbarara.
The tycoon’s investment in commercial real estate expanded when he started constructing GBK Plaza on a plot he bought at Makhan Singh Street. This plot was once a space for night parking and washing bay, but Kacuma turned it into a beautiful plaza in less than six months. He completed three multibillion-dollar structures in less than two years; one arcade and a plaza. The arcade and plaza are already accommodating several businesses.
After completing GBK Plaza, Kacuma then demolished one of his oldest buildings near Centenary Bank. He is now putting up a multi-billion mansion.
Kacuma also bought another building on Mbaguta Street from one Isaya, a Mbarara resident. Mr Kacuma also demolished his structure on Buremba Road and constructed the Western Arcade opposite the Central Market.
Currently, the tycoon has already signed a deal with Moses Mugume, one of the youngest tycoons in Mbarara City to purchase his Le Grande Arcade, one of Mbarara City’s tallest buildings. Le Grande Arcade is located on the High Street directly across from the New Classic Hotel and Radio West. Mr Kacuma is ready to splash about USh 11 billion on the Le Grande Arcade purchase, in cash.
Tycoon Godfrey Kacuma is a rigorous man who will not allow anyone, including his children, to joke around in his businesses. Mr Kacuma’s strict adherence to business principles and ethics are some of the reasons the Real Muloodi’s enterprises are thriving. It should not surprise you if he owns the whole of Mbarara City one of these days!
