Under the slogan “Make Money together”, the site prompts users to enter their mobile number and a password, or download their mobile app, without offering any other details.

The domain was only created 10th of November 2022, so it is still very new. Notwithstanding, appfigures.com shows the app has already scored between 10K – 50K downloads in that short time. It shows the following description:

What is EZ Earn?

Since the inception of this model, it has attracted more than 1 million people to participate.

More than 1 million people have already participated in the sharing economy, download EZ Earn, let’s make money together, and work together to build a better world.     3. The profit brought by the project is completely shared by the members, and EZ Earn will not charge any handling fee;
    4. Reliable items are endorsed by some big brands.

It shows the app being created by one ‘Andrew Ackley’, likely a fake name. Further, the identity of the owner of the website is hidden on WHOIS.

Several scam detecting websites such as scam-detector.com and scamadviser.com give the site a low trust rating, warning users of the likelihood it may be a scam with a threat rating and Phishing Score of over 50%.

Phishing is the fraudulent on-line practice of inducing individuals to reveal personal information, such as phone numbers and passwords.

By signing up or downloading apps like this one, unscrupulous data brokers collect not just your phone number, but your name and address, and more. They sell all this to third parties that work for a multi-billion industry a year. Your personal data is used by buyers for changing your financial rates, sending you spam emails and targeted advertisements and to blast you with telemarketing calls. Crooks use all your data without remorse. Be warned!
