UGANDA, Kampala | Real Muloodi NewsBritam’s Board of Directors has welcomed Judy Rugasira Kyanda as an independent non-executive director, pending approval from the Insurance Regulatory Authority (IRA).

Judy’s extensive background in corporate real estate services, encompassing property consultancy, valuation, advisory, and facilities management, positions her as a valuable addition to Britam’s leadership.

In a statement, Britam highlighted the subject-to-approval appointment, emphasising Judy’s wealth of experience in high-level private-public partnerships and her familiarity with global, regional, and international real estate practices.

Notably, Judy has actively participated in board roles, bringing a multi-stakeholder and multi-country perspective to her engagements.

Judy’s leadership roles include steering the expansion of Knight Frank into Kigali, Rwanda.

She has also collaborated with regional and global directors as the board chair of Knight Frank Africa Valuation Committee and Surveyor’s Registration Board in Uganda, contributing to strategic and legal reforms.

Armed with an MSC in Real Estate Management and a BSc in Land Management from the University of Reading, UK, Judy’s academic foundation complements her practical expertise in the real estate sector.
