UGANDA, Kampala | Real Muloodi News | The Kampala City Building Control Baraza 2023 is here organised by the National Building Review Board (NBRB) Uganda in partnership with the Kampala City Council Authority (KCCA) and the Ministry of Works and Transport.

For anyone interested in the real estate and construction industry, building regulations, or simply seeking information about surveying or expert professions in the real estate sector, this is your place to be.

The event is taking place on Friday 23rd June 2023 at Bat Valley Primary School Play Grounds starting at exactly 8 am under the theme: “Ensuring a Well-planned Decent and Safe Built Kampala City”. The entrance is free of charge.

The Chief Guest of the Baraza is Gen Edward Katumba Wamala, the Minister of Works and Transport.

The upcoming Kampala City Building Control Baraza provides an excellent opportunity for the public to gain insights into various professions involved in construction and building regulation in Uganda.

Among the key participants at the event will be the Surveyors Registration Board (SRB), ready to answer questions and shed light on the roles of land surveyors, valuation surveyors, and quantity surveyors in the country.

The SRB invites attendees to join them at the Kampala City Building Control Baraza to engage in discussions and seek clarification on various aspects of the surveying profession.

Whether it’s understanding or delving into their specific activities and responsibilities, this event will provide a platform for knowledge-sharing and interaction.

The Kampala Building Control Baraza will also focus on the mandate of the Engineers Registration Board (ERB), a regulatory body responsible for overseeing and controlling engineering practices in Uganda.

Attendees can learn more about the board’s functions and its role in ensuring the safety and quality of engineering projects.

Another important aspect that will be addressed at the Baraza is the role of the National Building Review Board (NBRB) and that of the Architects Registration Board in Uganda(ARB-Uganda).

Participants can gain a deeper understanding of building committees, building fees, building classifications, and other related topics. This knowledge will be valuable for individuals involved in construction, real estate, and building management.

Take advantage of this opportunity to connect with experts, ask questions, and expand your understanding of the field.
