UGANDA, Kamuli | Real Muloodi News | The Sudhir Ruparelia-owned conglomerate Ruparelia Group’s charitable arm, the Ruparelia Foundation, plans to organise a free eye medical care camp in Kamuli District.
The free eye medical camp will provide services like a blood drive, free eye tests, free glasses, and cataract surgery.
The camp will be hosted at Shree Hindu Bhagin Samal Plot 4-19 Crawford Avenue in Kamuli from Saturday, August 20, to Sunday, August 21, 2022.
Dr Sudhir & Mrs Jyotsna Ruparelia established the Ruparelia Foundation in 2012, and the foundation’s motto for all of its initiatives is “Enriching Lives Together.”
The foundation has been collaborating with several stakeholders over the past seven years to promote good change in various areas across Uganda to raise living standards.
The foundation has provided funding for over 600 charitable initiatives thus far.
The foundation’s main areas of interest include general welfare, disaster assistance, health care, education, sports, and the conservation of animals and the environment.
The Ruparelia Foundation has a sustainable plan for each programme it undertakes to achieve its goal of bringing about good and transformational change in the community.
This is not the only time the generous Ruparelia family extends their charitable hands toward those in need.
Two weeks ago, Dr Ruparelia gave the Rotary Club of Nsangi, which was raising money to establish a hospital, a brand-new ambulance and UGX10 million. Additionally, he gave an additional UGX 10 million to the Nsambya Hospital’s Rotary Club Cancer Ward.
