UGANDA, Kampala | Real Muloodi NewsUganda’s richest man, Dr. Sudhir Ruparelia, has officially unveiled Pearl Tower One. This 19-storey Grade-A office tower redefines Kampala’s skyline and sets a new benchmark for commercial real estate in East Africa.

Strategically located at the intersection of Yusuf Lule and Old Kiira Roads, Pearl Tower One is the first phase of the expansive Pearl Business Park, a multi-use development being spearheaded by Meera Investments Ltd, the real estate arm of the Ruparelia Group. The tower stands as a bold symbol of investor confidence in Uganda’s economic future and a commitment to transforming the capital’s urban infrastructure.

Pearl Tower One offers over 24,000 square meters of premium lettable office space across 16 floors, complemented by three basement levels with capacity for over 1,000 vehicles.

The building is designed to meet the highest global standards, featuring high-speed fibre internet, smart energy and ventilation systems, dual power backup, and comprehensive safety and surveillance infrastructure, including fire suppression systems and 170 CCTV cameras.

The building was designed by Symbion Uganda and is tailored to appeal to embassies, international corporations, NGOs, and regional headquarters looking for world-class facilities in the heart of Kampala.

The launch of Pearl Tower One has not only added a gleaming new silhouette to Kampala’s central business district but also signalled a new era in the city’s commercial real estate landscape.

Images of the tower’s striking glass façade and panoramic rooftop views have gone viral, showcasing what many observers have called one of the most breathtaking additions to Kampala’s skyline.

“This is more than a building—it’s a symbol of where Kampala is going,” said a spokesperson for Meera Investments. “We are creating a modern, future-ready business ecosystem in the heart of the city.”

Pearl Tower One is part of the larger Pearl Business Park, a mixed-use mega-development spread over 18–20 acres on a site formerly occupied by Uganda’s military intelligence.

The master plan includes future towers, a five-star hotel, a shopping mall, a modern hospital, landscaped plazas, and hospitality and entertainment facilities, creating a full live–work–play ecosystem.

According to developers, the park is poised to become Kampala’s first true “city within a city,” catering to the growing demand for integrated urban spaces that support economic activity, healthcare, leisure, and residential functions.

Speaking at the launch event, Dr. Sudhir Ruparelia said: “Pearl Tower One is our statement of belief in Uganda’s future. It is world-class infrastructure, developed by Ugandans, for Uganda, and it will catalyse growth, attract investment, and support the nation’s development goals.”

As Kampala’s population surges toward a projected 10 million by 2040, developments like Pearl Business Park are seen as crucial to meeting the demand for modern infrastructure and driving long-term economic growth.

Pearl Tower One is now open for leasing, with several high-profile tenants already in advanced stages of occupancy negotiation.
