UGANDA, Kampala | Real Muloodi News | Business magnate Sudhir Ruparelia has officially renamed Lotis Towers, a prestigious multi-million dollar property in Kampala, to Arie Towers. This alteration follows Sudhir’s acquisition of the building through a public auction facilitated by DFCU Bank.
Situated at plot 16 MacKinnon Road, Nakasero, Arie Towers stands tall with its 14 stories, previously under the ownership of real estate tycoon Samuel Lotigo, who encountered financial challenges.
The building accommodates renowned entities such as Cairo Bank, British American Tobacco, and the Judicial Service Commission.
On May 2, 2024, Sudhir notified tenants of the rebranding, outlining new procedures requiring them to submit signed tenancy agreements and proof of payment to formalise their contracts with the new landlords.
Furthermore, all rent and arrears payments are to be channelled through the bank, prohibiting cash transactions.
The renaming of Lotis Towers to Arie Towers signifies a fresh beginning for the property, long established within Kampala’s business district.
Sudhir’s decision to redefine the building underscores his strategic vision for its future, emphasising his dedication to enhancing Kampala’s real estate landscape.
Through the revamped identity as Arie Towers, Sudhir endeavours to position the structure as a premier centre for business and commerce, offering an unparalleled location for enterprises and institutions operating within Kampala.
