UGANDA, Kampala | Real Muloodi News | Cafe Bravo, a renowned eatery located at Uganda House on Kampala Road in the City Centre, has been engulfed in flames, resulting in extensive damage to the establishment.
The fire, suspected to have originated around 5 am, Friday 5th April, 2024, quickly consumed the restaurant premises, reducing it to ashes. Thankfully, no injuries or fatalities were reported as a result of the incident.
According to ASP Luke Owoyesigyire, deputy spokesperson for Kampala Metropolitan Police, the Fire Prevention and Rescue Services swiftly responded to the scene and managed to contain the fire, preventing it from spreading further throughout the building.
However, the property sustained significant damage, leading to the closure of the establishment until further notice.
Authorities have launched an investigation into the cause of the fire, with efforts focused on gathering evidence to determine the root cause.
While the exact cause of the fire remains unknown, authorities are actively working to ascertain the circumstances that led to the tragic incident.
ASP Owoyesigyire assured the public that updates would be provided as soon as additional information becomes available.
