UGANDA, Kampala | Real Muloodi News | The Uganda Revenue Authority (URA) has sent out a public notice, cordially inviting all landlords who own commercial buildings in Kampala City Divisions of Central, Rubaga, Nakawa, Kawempe, Makindye and the surrounding areas of Entebbe, Mukono, Kira, Nansana and Wakiso District for a tax dialogue at the URA Headquarters, Nakawa.

This tax engagement session will be held on Wednesday, 27th September 2023 at Sendaula Hall, URA Tower, Nakawa from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. East African Time.

The purpose of the session is to provide information nad gudance on rental income tax matters, such as how to register taxes, file returns, issue EFRIS invoices, apply for the Volutary Disclosure Prgram and request for waiver and penalty, among others.

The tax session will also offer the opportunity for landlords to ask questions and share feedback with the Authority’s officials.

Thus, URA Management urges all landlords and owners of comercial buildings to attend this session inperson to gain a clear understanding of their rights and obligations as well as the benefits of volutary tax compliance.
