UGANDA, Kampala | Real Muloodi News | City tycoon, John Fred Kiyimba, popularly known as Freeman, is a successful businessman, and chairman of Buganda Twezimbe, which is in charge of collecting funds ‘Ettoffaali’ for the reconstruction of the burnt Kasubi Tombs.
Owing to his success in the business world, Kiyimba owns one of the most luxurious homes in Uganda. In Lungujja, Kampala city, a walkable distance of about 15minutes, you find a beautiful mansion.
Seated on 2 acres, Kiyimba says his mansion cost him USh 10 billion, and it took him three years to complete. It has over 18 rooms, each room with a TV set.
Freeman built the house with world-class materials that could easily catch anyone’s attention. Kiyimba says he got the house plan from the US while sourcing materials used in construction from the UK and China.
The three-storeyed house has an elevator which leads you to the second and third floor. The lift enables peaceful movement and is functional with or without electricity. Kiyimba installed a powerful solar system for all electrical purposes just in case power goes off.
Every bedroom in this spacious house has a bathroom with full-packed technology, working music systems, world-class mirrors and good fresh air. The restrooms are of the best class, and hygiene is on point.
The mansion has three spacious living rooms with big wall screens, beautiful furniture, and more. It also has a lovely balcony which allows you to view every hill in Kampala city.
The kitchen is made of beautiful wood, with the electric cooker and air conditioner welcoming you into Freeman’s kitchen.
The ceilings of Kiyimba’s mansion are metallic, and the painting is sporadic compared to Uganda’s lifestyle. You can only find something similar to this when you travel outside Uganda. The bulbs in Kiyimba’s mansion produce different admirable flame colours, especially when the music is playing.
Mr Kiyimba included a gym, sauna, and steam bath. A spacious, unique swimming pool welcomes you when you enter the gate. They designed the area beautifully, and it caters for both children and adults.
